Nilok was born and raised in The Netherlands where he started as a musician playing guitar in a death-core band for a couple of years. After the band decided to split, he pursued his own path of still making music but this time with chill and jazzy beats. Even though he likes to experiment with other genres like for example phonk, he often comes back to the lo-fi genre for the nostalgic feelings and dusty sounds it produces. Finally his inspiration for making music isn't exclusive and ranges from a wide spectrum of artists that he likes to listen to like Gorillaz for example from an early age or Brand of Sacrifice that's truly face melting.
